The older I get the more I care about comfort. And, surprisingly, I find myself dressing more and more casual everyday. I used to wear heels and dresses at least five days a week but I've slowly made some transitions in my wardrobe rotation and find myself wearing jeans and flats more often than not. Don't get me wrong, I still love getting dolled up but I also enjoy sleep and, if you know me, you know I'm not a morning person! And, sometimes a casual look just takes a whole lot less effort.

I wore this outfit last weekend while photographing a music video shoot in El Paso - pretty cool! I wanted to wear something that I could easily move around in because I knew I would be trying to capture all the best angles. This look did the job! (and I might have known that I would be able to capture a couple pics for my blog too)

If you don't have a bomber like this one -- you need one! Not only super comfortable, but pairs well with so many looks. You could wear it like I did with black distressed jeans and a grey t-shirt or you could wear it with a chambray, white floral, or black and white striped dress!

I've linked up items to help you recreate the look below (all you have to do is click on the image and you'll be redirected to the website to make your purchase!). These are the exact shoes I'm wearing and I love them!! I looked for so long to find a pair of cute, unique black booties and this is what I came up with - they have limited sizes left so make sure to snag yours before they're sold out! Also - major sale alert!! If you live near a Marshalls, the bomber I'm wearing is Kenneth Cole and is on sale for under $25 (can you believe it?!) they have it in blush too! I had a hard time deciding which to buy but I figured I would get more use out of the army green. I included a couple dresses that I would also wear with this bomber - the best thing about pieces like this is that your options for looks are endless!
